October 17, 2026 JayHusker Fall Cruise to Arbor Day Lodge Park. Brunch reservations required. Need final count by the 14th. Gather at Beatrice Bomgaars east parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Cruise out at 8:45 a.m. to arrive at the Lodge at about 10:00 a.m. After brunch, we will cruise to the Mansion and park where there are multiple places to visit on your own schedule. The Mansion is open from 11 am. - 6 p.m. Check out our event calendar for admission prices and details.

October 29, 2026 Trunk or Treat at Night of the Great Pumpkin in downtown Beatrice.

Be parked and in place by 4:30 p.m. in the center of Court Street between 3rd and 4th Streets. Event lasts until 7 p.m. Room for up to 10 vehicles. Must register with Pam by the 10th. 402-540-7759.

JayHusker Carfest was a success! The rain cleared out and it was a perfect Fall day for a car show. Court Street was filled with cars, trucks and people enjoying the show. Thank you to all of our members who volunteered their time, to our sponsors, our door prize donors, our goody bag donors and especially to the City of Beatrice for supporting this event. It could not have been possible without all of you!

We welcome new member Mike McLain, President of the Beatrice City Council and interim Mayor of Beatrice. Mike and his wife Sue own Yesterday's Lady. He is proud of hs 1916 Ford Model T Speedster. Mike and Sue are our 123rd and 124th members.

November 5, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. is the next JayHusker Auto Club monthly meeting at the American Legion Club in Beatrice, the west meeting room. For those who want to eat together, order off the menu at 5:30 p.m. Please Wear you name tags. We will take nominations for the 2027 officers: President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer. We will also vote on charitable organizations that we will give to in December. And discuss the 2027 car shows vote outcome.

We are members of ENWICC (Eastern Nebraska Western Iowa Car Council.)

JayHusker Auto Club started in the 1950’s in Beatrice, Nebraska as a Small Engine and Car Club, but didn’t officially become a recognized club (nonprofit organization) with the state until the late 1960’s. By the late 1960’s, the Club had already started hosting a Flea Market/Swap Meet and other events. Initially, the Club hosted the Swap Meet on Fathers' Day Weekend, but later combined it with the weekend of the annual Homestead Days. The originating club members lived in Southeastern Nebraska and Northeastern Kansas, thus the JayHusker name was chosen. The club has over 50 members who are auto enthusiasts ranging in age from teenagers to retirees. They have a wide variety of vehicles including Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Muscle Cars, Antique Cars, Sports Cars, Imports/Exotics, Motorcycles, Antique Farm Equipment and Drag Racing cars. The Club sponsors and participates in Car Shows, Show and Shines, Cruises, Racing, and other events. Many members are into small engines, flea markets and swap meets. We promote auto events within a 100-mile radius of Beatrice and post community events on our calendar.

You don’t have to own a vehicle to be a member. The Yearly Membership is only $20 (twenty dollars!)
