Gage Fair 2026

Gage County Fair Classic Show & Shine is Sunday July 26th from Noon - 4 p.m. As you enter the fairgrounds, tell them you are registering for the car show. You will not be charged to enter. Watch for the traffic director to point you to the parking spots near and around the fair office. After you park, go to the Registration Table in the AG Building to sign-in and get your door prize ticket and Owners' Choice Voting form. There is no registration fee! Show off your car, truck, motorcycles and tractors in this fun atmosphere while rockin' to the golden oldies'. Goody bags for the first lucky registrants until they are all gone. Owners' Choice Awards for the favorite car, truck, motorcycle, tractor and the most Fun/Interesting/Unique. See you there!

Commemorative 2026 Homestead Days Car Show T-shirts are available in several sizes for $20 each. Contact Pam 402-540-7759 or pick one up at the Gage County Fair Classic Show and Shine and at our club meetings.

Our next monthly club meeting is Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Beatrice Valentinos Party Room. You can start ordering off the Lunch Express Menu at 5:30 p.m. Enter the south alley door. Go to the front of the store to place your orders. We will be reviewing the Gage County Fair Classic Show & Shine, and gearing up for the fall Carfest.

August 29th Cruise to Speedway Motors Museum Cars & Coffee in Lincoln Nebraska. From 8 am - Noon. Meet in the Beatrice Walmart northwest parking lot at 7:00 a.m. Cruise out together at 7:15 a.m. For those who want to help promote our inaugural downtown fall Carfest, we will be distributing the Carfest flyers to the participants there row by row until they are gone. After we enjoy some rolls and coffee!

Our June 28th Homestead Days Car Show was a success! 186 entries. Congratulations to all the members and friends who helped put it together and make it a success. Thank You!

JayHusker Auto Club started in the 1950’s in Beatrice, Nebraska as a Small Engine and Car Club, but didn’t officially become a recognized club (nonprofit organization) with the state until the late 1960’s. By the late 1960’s, the Club had already started hosting a Flea Market/Swap Meet and other events. Initially, the Club hosted the Swap Meet on Fathers' Day Weekend, but later combined it with the weekend of the annual Homestead Days. The originating club members lived in Southeastern Nebraska and Northeastern Kansas, thus the JayHusker name was chosen. The club has over 50 members who are auto enthusiasts ranging in age from teenagers to retirees. They have a wide variety of vehicles including Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Muscle Cars, Antique Cars, Sports Cars, Imports/Exotics, Motorcycles, Antique Farm Equipment and Drag Racing cars. The Club sponsors and participates in Car Shows, Show and Shines, Cruises, Racing, and other events. Many members are into small engines, flea markets and swap meets. We promote auto events within a 100-mile radius of Beatrice and post community events on our calendar.

You don’t have to own a vehicle to be a member. The Yearly Membership is only $20 (twenty dollars!)
