Kent has been a JayHusker Auto Club member for 41 years as of 2025. He has been married 51 years to his wife Nancy. They have a son, Darren, and daughter, Anne. Kent is retired and resides in Beatrice Nebraska. He has lived in this area for over 50 years. He went to Johnson High School and Peru State College. He grew up in Graf, Nebraska.
His favorite hobby is restoring 1940 Fords and flat head engines.
